This is a good book I picked up at Borders the other day, most of you will be able to appreciate this guy's look into life with no electricity or modern machinery. It's an easy read and once I got started I couldn't put it down!
It's called "Better Off" by Eric Brende. Happy Reading! |

I recently finished reading a book most of you maybe have already read, Harvest A Year in the Life of an Organic Farm. The photographs alone were worth the price of the book. It chronicles the farm of Jennifer Megyesi and Kyle Jones. As someone who has not farmed, I was riveted by all the details and reality checks of their Fat Rooster Farm.
It was exactly what I was looking for and despite the generous details I wish I could have ask them a ton of questions! |

I have also read Better Off. I found it impossible to put down. A refreshing account of life without modern technology. I may read it again this winter! |
