Garden Coordinator Position In Seattle Tilth’s Demonstration Garden Program we teach adults how to grow food and maintain a landscape organically. Duties include creating and maintaining garden plans and maintenance schedules, coordinating garden volunteer program including supervising staff and volunteers. Farmer Wanted Seeking a farmer with experience in CSA operations and organic farming. This position begins in April 2008 and will work in cooperation with Pennypack Farm Managers. Qualifications: minimum 2 years of farming experience, familiarity with organic vegetable production and CSA operations, experience with growing field crops as well as in high tunnels and greenhouses. Four CSA Internships Available @ Gardenripe in Oregon Position entails all aspects of growing and harvesting a wide variety of produce. Job will include but will not be limited to planting in greenhouse and field, transplanting seedlings, spreading compost, weeding, watering--drip and overhead, harvesting, packaging produce.
